Spring is in the air, well at least my backyard. The flowers are blooming, the bugs are buzzing, and I have no idea how to tend a garden. Each year has it's season, as does each life. My dad had a heart attack 3 weeks ago. I guess as heart attacks go, his was under the best possible circumstances. My Mom was right there and called 911. He was in the hospital and had a stint run up the blocked vein within a few hours. He is resting up at home now and eating more fish then he ever thought he would have a month ago!! (Fish is good for you - or so the doctors say.)

On the home front - we have a new car. A brand new shiny Mini Cooper S!! It's green with a white roof. You can see the pictures in the gallary area. It has been so much fun to drive. My poor motorcycle has been spending it's days gathering dust in the garage. I think I am going to try to take her out for a spin soon!

I took a trip with my Mom to Ashland Oregon in March, and we did a weekend trip to Long Beach in April. Pictures are up for both now too. Upcoming trips include Yosemite, Mendocino coast, and Las Vegas. As long as we don't forget our camera you will have pictures of all in the coming months!!

Enjoy the warming days of spring. Summer and her heat will be upon us soon. Or in the case of San Francisco - summer and her chilly fog.
