Moorea Tahiti
<<    Archive    >>
The waters of Tahiti are the warmest, calmest, clearest waters I have ever swam, snorkeled or dived in - not to mention sea kayaked in too! The water was usually right around 75 degrees, while the air temps were around 82 - so we were in the water one way or another just about every single day of our trip. We did have a few days of rain - but when it's warm - who cares! When the skies cleared an emerald green island appeared surrounded by a sapphire ocean. It was truly spectacular. Moorea the island we stayed on - just 10 miles from Tahiti the main island - is a quiet peaceful island with only 12,000 inhabitants. We woke each morning and fell asleep each night to the lapping of the ocean water under our bungalow. We also fed the fish that swam under our deck each day. This trip was amazing and relaxing in so many ways. To my great surprise (and delight) Paul proposed to me while were out sea kayaking one day. I said yes - or some version of yes and even managed to not tip the boat over. The pictures are up in the photo gallery now - though they do not do the beauty we saw and enjoyed justice.

Thanks! Good Photos!
