2010 What a year! We have been keeping busy and having fun.

Eric is now 22 months old and learning so much so fast. He is walking, running, and talking up a storm. We feel like he is learning new words every day. He can pretty much tell us what he wants now. This is both a good and bad thing. Good in that we can understand him, hard in that we do not always give him what he wants!! Hard to believe he will be turning two in just over a month.

On July 14th, Eric's little sister Sophia Rose arrived. She was a couple of days late and a big girl to start (10 pounds 5 ounces). She will be one week old tomorrow. So far she has been a great eater and is a good sleeper so long as she is close to either mommy or daddy. Eric is still not sure what to make of her, but I think he will warm up over time.

Our house project continues to move along. It is a couple of months behind schedule (as to be expected I guess) at this point, but we do hope to move back in early December. But at least now walls are going up and we are starting to see the shape of how things will look when they are all put back together. We are getting to the fun exciting stage I think. Also a bit teadious with all of the things we have to pick out from window style to paint color and door knobs. But it will be nice we get to live there again!!
