Eric is 6 months old and keeping us as busy as ever!! We did however manage to get away for our first family vacation – to Aruba! Eric did great on his first (2 nd, 3 rd, and 4 th) plane ride(s). Paul and Helene snorkeled, went scuba diving, and enjoyed the beaches and warm water. Paul got do some fabulous windsurfing. Eric got to dip is toes in a pool and the ocean for the first time too.

Pictures are up in the gallery. The underwater pictures do not do the scenery justice. The fish were so amazing and colorful – but our camera is just not sophisticated enough to capture all of the colors underwater. To our surprise, Aruba is rather arid as islands go, so we saw a lot of cactus and iguanas rather then lush jungles. But the beaches were amazing soft white sand, and the water was just perfect.
